Hi, my name is Leonardo Natan (or Peter, for some) an electronic engineer that is treading the (scary) path to become a game developer.
I always loved video games and working in developing one was (one of my) naive childhood dreams, I was very fond of level editors (I wonder how things could have been if I discovered modding sooner). But I accepted very early that this was something out of my reach and getting work in game development was going to be unlikely (especially in Brazil).
But in college I discovered indie games (it all started with Undertale) and how small teams or a single person were able to make my favorite games. By the end of my college I started to participate in the Global Game Jam and started to play with game engines and more level editors (my first taste of game development, as silly as it sounds, was with Overwatch Workshop), until I finally made my leap of faith and began developing my first game part time.
I'm currently working part time in developing my first game, Flightless Star. A challenging "platformer" about space, gravity fields and a cute bird (started in 3/2023).
